And The Best Loyalty Program Is....

Switchfly hotel reward survey conducted a test to see which hotel rewards program gives travelers the biggest bang for the buck. 

For every $100 spent, they wanted to determine the benefit in terms of dollars added to the rewards points.

And the winner, you know it already, was Marriott Rewards. 

For every $100 spent, the cardholder got $9.40 in rewards money towards a future stay or a gift card or whatever else that they wanted to exchange their points for.

The $9.40 reward beenfit for Marriott Rewards was almost 6% better than the Hilton Rewards program and almost 10% better than IHG. Surprisingly, Starwood was the last on this list coming in at only $6.10 benefit for every $100 spent.

The advantge of this kind of survey is that you finally get an ‘apples-to-apples’ measurements from their loyalty programs to know who is being truly generous with their rewards,” said Switchfly CEO Daniel Farrar.
